个人经历
庄诗美教授1987年毕业于复旦大学上海医学院六年制临床医学专业,1992年获该校儿科学医学博士学位,随后被该校医学神经生物学国家重点实验室聘为讲师,1993年自费出国。
1993至1994年作为访问学者在荷兰Leiden大学从事细胞凋亡的研究工作。1995至2002年在瑞典Linkoping大学从事化学物致癌的机制研究,其间于1999年获细胞生物学理学博士学位,于2000年被聘为助理教授。
2002年底到中山大学工作。先后入选/获得教育部长江学者特聘教授、国家杰出青年科学基金 、国家百千万人才工程、有突出贡献中青年专家、南粤百杰等。

学术成就
长期从事肿瘤生物学领域的研究,系统阐述了非编码 RNA与蛋白质的互作网络及生物学功能,揭示了调控肝癌生长转移的新机制,发现肝癌早期检测及精准治疗新策略。
作为通讯作者在Lancet Oncol、J Hepatol、Hepatology、Cancer Res、Nucleic Acids Res等国际知名杂志发表一系列高水平研究论文,包括多篇ESI高被引论文、杂志封面论文、专家同期评述论文。连续多年入选 “中国高被引学者”榜单。
作为第一发明人获授权中国发明专利15项,其中3项已转让,正在开展肝癌诊断试剂盒的研发。
作为第二完成人获2014年度国家自然科学奖二等奖;作为第一完成人获得教育部和广东省自然科学奖一等奖。
承担课题
