研究方向

(1)植物免疫信号转导(主要研究方向)

        在电影《星际穿越》中,地球上的农作物先后被枯萎病团灭,只有玉米还在苦苦挣扎,人类终日只能吃土......现实中,病原菌引起的植物病害曾经对人类历史造成过深远影响。植物可以通过整合模式触发式免疫(PTI)和效应子触发式免疫(ETI),感知和抵御绝大多数病原菌。然而,少数开挂的病原菌能利用花样繁多的策略与植物大玩“躲猫猫”(逃避植物的免疫识别或阻断其免疫信号转导),以促进对植物的侵染。本课题组主要利用分子生物学、生物化学、细胞生物学、分子遗传学等手段探究植物感知病原菌以及免疫信号转导的分子机理。欢迎围观植物与病原菌这场不见硝烟的战争,学习安身立命的“三十六计”。

(2)植物靶向基因调控技术 

       基因缺失突变体的缺乏、基因功能冗余和基因缺失致死是植物基因功能研究中最主要的技术瓶颈。本课题组致力于建立和优化一套全方位的基因功能调控工具,可以实现高效的植物基因敲除、敲低与激活。

个人经历

国家杰出青年科学基金获得者。1995年免试进入中山大学生物化学专业攻读本科,1999年免试进入中山大学生化与分子生物学专业攻读硕士,2002年起在中山大学生化与分子生物学专业攻读博士,于2005年获博士学位。2003-2004年在香港科技大学做访问学者(Visiting Scholar)。2005.11-2008.10在美国田纳西大学做博士后,2008.11-2014.8在美国哈佛医学院/麻省总医院任助理研究员(Research Fellow)。2014年9月起任赌博app-网络赌博软件 教授、博士生导师。2018年起任生物科学与技术系系主任。

2014、2015、2021年先后获得国家“海外高层次人才引进计划”青年项目、国家优秀青年科学基金、国家杰出青年科学基金资助。

 

讲授课程

目前主要讲授《生命科学史》、《大学生物》、《现代生命科学进展》、《新生科研研讨课》。
